The Business Challenge
Informa needed an experienced and well-respected industry commentator to chair the conference and open the event with an insightful keynote speech.
Informa needed a host who had an excellent understanding of the MVNO ecosystem, the key market dynamics and trends, and the personality and gravitas to ensure that attendees remained engaged.
The Solution
Informa approached Graystone Strategy to support the event because of its expertise in the telecoms and MVNO market.
Graystone’s Managing Director, James Gray, was selected to front the conference, working with Informa on the key topics for an initial chair’s opening remarks.
James also worked closely with the conference producers and contributors to ensure that panels and discussions were engaging and covered the key topics and trends for the industry.
Graystone Strategy also supported the conference with several expert blogs and promoted these via its extensive social media presence in the MVNx community.
Outcomes
Graystone Strategy has worked closely with Informa on both the MVNOs World and MVNOs Connect since 2021. James continues to chair the event and other members of the Graystone team have also contributed to panels and as facilitators.
In 2024, Graystone Strategy and Informa jointly launched a series of MVNO Masterclasses for conference attendees. These have proved incredibly popular with attracting over 50 attendees at a time. Attendees have rated the content and their likelihood to recommend the classes to a colleague between 4.8/5 and 5/5.
